About Me

A little something about me.

I am a Brisbane based psychologist specialising in relationship counselling, life coaching, anger management and anxiety and depression counselling.

I have been keenly interested in Peer support groups since I was young and pioneered a youth support group at my high school which still continues at that institution until the present day.

It was a natural progression for me to accept a place at University of Queensland to study Psychology. I completed a BA (Hons) and MA (Organisational Psychology) whilst also acting as a tutor to undergrad students, being a representative on the Student Union Senate and completing two theses, one of which focussed on my passion of life coaching and executive coaching.

Whilst completing my masters I began work with as a training consultant at Organisational Development Resources (ODR). I went on to work for the Brisbane Council as a Project Officer. From there I joined Hudson – a multi-national consultancy agency as an Organisational Development Consultant. At the beginning of 2008 I moved to London to work for the city of Westminster as an Organisational Development Officer.

I moved back to my home town of Brisbane at the start of 2009 to set up my own Psychology Practice. The practice has since flourished and I have been able to increase the modalities I work with to include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), Life Coaching and Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapy.

With a large range of therapeutic modalities at my disposal I have been able to help many people deal with such issues as Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Men’s Mental Health, Relationship Difficulties and Couples Counselling, Teenage and Adolescence Issues and Addiction Issues. I have also been called upon to write a number of Psychologist Pre-Sentence Court Reports and have been engaged to deliver Vocation Assessments and EAP. I also work in Mediation services with the family court.
My varied caseload allows me to bring my breadth of experience to bear with each client. I have treated hundreds of clients with a range of issues and concerns and have developed a diagnostic system that allows me to ascertain the unique issues concerning any individual
